Atak was born in 1967 in Frankfurt / Oder. Since 2008 he has been Professor of Illustration at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Applied Sciences in Halle. Solo exhibitions u.a. in Berlin, Paris, Helsinki, Stockholm and Zurich. Lives and works as a freelance artist, illustrator and graphic designer in Berlin.
