Future Prospects for Girls
The Girls’ Day - the biggest career orientation project for girls in Germany - comes to Australia on 16 June 2021! The aim of this campaign is to expand the range of career choices of women and to promote diversity in the workplace. Girls from years 7 and 8 have the opportunity to visit companies and universities and accompany women in STEM careers. In addition to the on-site activities, Girls’ Day will also be virtual this year. Schools can tune in from their classroom. The virtual program includes a coding workshop followed by presentations by women in STEM as well as information on studying in Germany.
