Two Masters of Electronic Music
Susanne Kirchmayr (aka Electric Indigo) and Robert Henke (aka Monolake) have profoundly shaped electronic music culture for over two decades now:
Henke with his releases as Monolake, his audio-visual installations, his laser performances and as co-author of the seminal music software Ableton Live, and Kirchmayr as a composer, DJ, producer and role model for women in electronic music through the transnational female:pressure network.
Kirchmayr and Henke share an interest in the exploration of space, timbre and dynamics through complex organised sound and large evolving structures. For their first joint tour in the Southern Hemisphere, they each premiere newly developed performances.
