Sunday, 8:15 pm in Germany: week after week, more than eight million viewers tune in to the German crime series 'Tatort' to watch the detectives solve crimes. Together, they investigate the work of the police and prosecutors, examine secret documents and interrogate suspects.
'Tatort' is not just a crime series, it has been one of the most successful cult thrillers on German television since 1970, with over 1000 episodes in more than 30 German cities.

The 'Tatort' episode 'Das geheime Leben unserer Kinder' will be screened on this movie night. It is about the well-functioning patchwork family Miriam Schenk, Paul Wolf and their almost grown-up children Zoé and Benno, until Benno's best friend Christopher is killed and the investigation begins.

The movie will be in German (without english subtitles)
The event is held in collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the University of Melbourne.
