Antenna Documentary Film Festival takes place every October in Sydney, screening the very best in non-fiction films from Australia and around the world. This year we especially recommend the following three films:

Brimstone & Glory by Viktor Jakovleski, He She I by Carlotta Kittel, and Mr Gay Syria by Ayse Toprak. All three directors will attend the festival with Q&A sessions after the following screenings.

Fri 13 Oct 2017, 7.00 pm at Verona Cinema: Brimstone & Glory
Sat 14 Oct 2017, 3:15 pm at Chauvel Cinema: He She I
Sat 14 Oct 2017, 5.00 pm at Chauvel Cinema: Mr Gay Syria
Sun 15 Oct 2017, 3.00 pm at Norton Street Cinema: Brimstone & Glory
Sun 15 Oct 2017, 5.00 pm at Norton Street Cinema: Mr Gay Syria

The Goethe-Institut supports these screenings and the visit of Viktor Jakovleski, Belin-based director of Brimstone & Glory, a visually stunning film about a Mexican pyrotechnic festival. Jakovleski follows the residents of the town Tultepec as they create and celebrate an incredible world of fireworks.

For tickets and further information about the films please visit the Antenna Festival website.
