Talk with Producer Heino Deckert

Heino Deckert is one of the leading names in international documentary production today. He is the managing director of documentary sales company Deckert Distribution and has produced more than 120 films. His second collaboration with director Victor Kossakovsky, Aquarela, just had its world premiere at the 75th Venice Film Festival and will be shown at Antenna Festival in Sydney.

For the festival’s DocTalk, Heino Deckert will speak about the challenges involved in structuring a complex co-production, using Aquarela as a case study. He will also share valuable insights into producing, selling and distributing creative documentaries. His visit is supported by the Goethe-Institut. This event is part of the series Antenna Festival.
