The internationally renowned German saxophone quartet Sonic.Art will come to Australia to perform live with Berlin: Symphony of a Metropolis, one of the world's most influential silent films. Directed by Walter Ruttmann in 1927 the movie helped define the 'city symphony' film genre. It portrays life in roaring Berlin through visual impressions in a semi-documentary style.

29 April 2019: Melbourne, ACMI
30 April 2019: Canberra, NFSA

Following the KinoKonzert performances, the quartet will also play a different program at Canberra International Music Festival.
