German Week Brisbane
Unique in Australia – and possibly worldwide – ‘Oktoberfest for Teens’ is Queensland’s largest schools’ language event. Organised by Paula Hay from the
German Teachers’ Branch, with support from Oktoberfest Brisbane, this celebration sets the German language and culture alive for more than 2,000 primary and secondary school students and teachers.
Learning resources, quizzes and competitions are provided as part of the integrated learning journey for the weeks leading up to this German schools Festival. This event is an unforgettable educational day of great German fun, food, competitions, entertainment and, most importantly, language.
