On a pirate ship in the sea, Checker Tobi discovers a message in a bottle containing a mysterious riddle about the secret of our planet. To solve it, he undertakes an adventurous journey and travels to various unknown places on this earth. He climbs on a fire-breathing volcano, dives with sea dragons in the Pacific, explores the Arctic with climate researchers and discovers India. The viewer accompanies Checker Tobi on his amazing, entertaining and funny experiences and finally realizes that the solution to the mystery is actually very close and that the solution was right in front of Tobi‘s eyes.

Teams of students complete activities to earn points and help the Mission X mascots, Luna and Leo, walk to the Moon. Two sets of hands-on classroom activities support the challenge: physical activities, which help students develop strength, endurance, coordination, and spatial awareness; and scientific activities which focus on STEM subjects and allow students to practice scientific reasoning and teamwork.
