Online Professional Learning Workshop for Year 3-6 Teachers (part two)

In this online workshop lead by Tanya Siebert (Professional Learning Facilitator for South Australia) participants will be introduced to the teaching resources provided by the Kinderuni online learning platform. Using specific examples from the Kinderuni website they will find out how to integrate topics in the field of humanities, technology and natural sciences in their CLIL based language lessons. In addition, links to the Australian Curriculum will be highlighted. The workshop will be run over two sessions with teachers encouraged to try out some ideas from the first session during the week then to come back to the second session with feedback, questions and ideas for others.

Presenter
Tanya Siebert has been teaching for 14 years at primary and secondary levels and in adult education. She is the Goethe-Institut Professional Learning Facilitator for South Australia and is currently working with concepts based around the topic of integrating STEM subjects into German lessons. From her experiences, teachers can work with the Kinderuni materials to help students become successful young learners in a dynamic world full of unexpected challenges and opportunities.
