Australia-wide

This year the German Careers Day will be held as a nation-wide online event. Year 8-12 students from Australia are invited to join us on Thursday 29th July 2021 to learn about career paths with German. Join us together with your secondary school students from the comfort of your classroom or individually from home. We will start with a welcome and a keynote speech, followed by presentations from experts from a variety of academic and professional fields. In the afternoon there will be an online film screening that can be attended optionally.

HOW TO ATTEND?
To attend the online event students and teachers will log in as a group from their classroom with one device only or each student with their own device individually. Students who will be learning from home on the day, are welcome to join us individually. We will use the platform Zoom. Teachers (and students) will be able to use the chat function for the Q&A part after each presentation. Before registering, please talk to your tech support at school to find out whether you will be able to log in to Zoom within your school’s network. Zoom offers a test meeting to check whether it works.
