German for young Learners
Car, TV or computer – German inventions change the world.
At the moment Germany ranks amongst the top 3 nations when it comes to patent registrations, and reports continued growth in the number of people employed in science and research. So these are good prospects for an innovative future in an innovative country – and also for young people from all around the world who are interested in studying or doing a research placement in Germany.
The poster exhibition 'Erfinderland Deutschland' focuses on world-changing German inventions across the scientific disciplines. The spotlight is on both historical discoveries and pioneering innovations – not forgetting to take a look at the research environment in Germany of course.
The poster exhibition is available in German and English and can be borrowed from the Goethe-Institut in Sydney and Melbourne.
Teaching materials for preparation and follow-up of the exhibition for different language levels can be found here.
