Junioruni live online session
Parental Consent Form

Your child's teacher has booked a Junioruni Live Online Taster Session for your child and his/her class. This session will take place via Zoom, a cloud plattform for video conferencing. Please read this information and fill out the consent form below.

Technical requirements

To participate you need a computer, laptop or tablet that is connected to the Internet and equipped with a microphone, speakers and a camera. Zoom can be accessed via link and works on most oline devices. Please test your device prior to the Junioruni session by joining this test meeting: https://zoom.us/test

Online Safety and Privacy
Participants will recieve the link to the zoom-session via email. The link will never be published on a website or on social media. In addition, the session will be password protected and we'll install a waiting room to ensure that only registered participants are admitted.
Zoom has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield. You'll find more information on zoom's privacy policy here: https://zoom.us/privacy

The digital Junior University is a free educational project for young people created by the Goethe-Institut. It offers the opportunity to find answers to the most exciting questions from the fields of robotics, space travel, technologies, nature research, energy and sustainability, while learning German.

Would you and your students like to try out the Junioruni? Then book a live online taster session free of charge for students in Years 7 to 11. This 50 minute course is lead by one of our German teachers via Zoom. A maximum of 12 students can participate in one course. You can also organise taster sessions as part of your remote learning program. 

Conditions of participation
If you want to organise the taster sessions you should check first if you can access Zoom through your network: https://zoom.us/test. Your students need a computer, laptop or tablet that is connected to the internet and equipped with a camera, microphone and headphones.

A maximum of 12 students can participate in a course

NB: The total size of all uploaded files may not exceed 20 MB.

Please upload a list with the names of the participating students. If you want to book the courses for several groups, please assign the students to each group (group 1, group 2, etc).

Students in Years 7 to 11 can participate.
