German with Felix and Franzi
German for children
Felix and Franzi
The Felix and Franzi materials were developed by the Goethe-Institut London to be used in primary education. Each unit follows the story of Felix the Frog and Franzi the Duck. The two characters accompany students through the syllabus and present new vocabulary and activities for each new chapter. The two funny hand puppets are originally from Germany. The program includes lots of fun and interesting videos and songs that encourage interactive learning.
Further information and materials can be found on the website of the Goethe-Institut London.
Felix and Franzi on adventure in Australia
Felix and Franzi are now traveling around Australia! Teachers can register their school as a destination for Felix and Franzi and show/present the adventures of Felix and Franzi at their school. School classes can thus also learn what Felix and Franzi experience at other schools.

You will find more ideas on how to use Felix and Franzi in class in the picture gallery.
The map also allows teachers to network with other schools. For this purpose, we have designed a digital postcard to encourage the exchange between students and teachers from different schools.
The postcard is available in two designs; it is also available to teachers as a print template.
