German Day Out 2016 for all students of German in Year 8-12
The German Day Out 2016 follows the topic: Auf in die weite Welt! Students of German in Years 8-12 from across Victoria are invited to join us at Melbourne Town Hall.
The main program starts at 11.00 am with the student forum which focuses on valuable experience reports and information about the wide (German-speaking) world. Students can expect interesting presentations from experts of German in the educational field, as well as exciting reports from former students of German. Highlight of the day is the announcement of the 2016 Year 10 Award winner, who will be awarded with a 3-week German language course in Germany. The afternoon program is as usual optional and needs to be booked separately prior to the event. You can choose between the MIFF Next Gen Film Mara and the Firebringer
at ACMI, the program 'Wunderbar Germany'
at the NGV International and a guided tour through the poster exhibition "Erfinderland Deutschland" at the Goethe-Institut in Melbourne (please contact
for registration and further information).
The German Day Out is jointly organised by the Goethe-Institut and the German Teachers' Association AGTV.
