"OUR FUTURE"

Young people in Australia are growing up in an increasingly connected world that presents both global opportunities and challenges. In this rapidly changing environment communication and language learning are more important than ever for future career options. Skills in German provide local and international pathways for further study, research and work. Significant factors in gaining these skills are teachers and language programs that facilitate effective communication in culturally and linguistically diverse communities. The Australian Curriculum lays a foundation across state and territory borders for developing quality German programs that enable future opportunities. In recognition of this the focus of the National Conference 2016 is collaborating to create our future as educators while we ensure students realise their future.
