Peter Brötzmann & Heather Leigh: Australian Tour

Saxophonist Peter Brötzmann is a living legend of improvised music who has embodied the leading edge of the European avant-garde for over 50 years, challenging audiences and convention alike with a relentless intensity. Since 2015, he has collaborated with pedal steel guitarist Heather Leigh who is becoming increaingly well-known in her own right.

Presented by The People’s Republic in Sydney, the MONA Museum of Modern Art in Hobart, Liquid Architecture in Melbourne and the Institute of Modern Art and Room40 in Brisbane. The visit of Peter Brötzmann is supported by the Goethe-Institut.
