Lecture and various film screenings
The Australian Cinémathèque at
Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) presents the first major retrospective of Fassbinder’s work to be staged in Australia.
In October 2017 the first part of the retrospective took place in Brisbane, concentrating on the performance aspect of Fassbinder’s film and television work. Now the second part will be presented by Juliane Lorenz. .
In Brisbane Juliane Lorenz participates in various film screenings and gives a talk on the role women have had in Fassbinder's private and work life.
