Smartphone Filmmaking Workshop

Are you a creative and visionary student or a thought leader for a sustainable future and would like to find out how to produce films with your smartphone?
Then #NUCLEUS is the right workshop for you - and it is for free!

The Goethe-Institut and its project partner MINA, the Mobile Innovation Network & Association, invite you to take part in the  mobile & smartphone filmmaking workshop #NUCLEUS.

The goal is to create a digital story with the focus on ecology, sustainable filmmaking, travel films & eco-tourism. The documentaries and experimental films will be produced only on your phones.

The workshop will be hold by Max Schleser, co-founder of MINA and Senior Lecturer in Film and Television at Swinburne University as well as his collegues Felix Gyebi and Shuai Li.

Following topics will be covered in the workshop:
-Introduction to Smartphone Filmmaking, Social Media Content production and the NUCLEUS project
-Smartphone filmmaking for documentary production and integration of video platforms such as Tik Tok (Shuai Li)
- Smartphone Documentation as a new chance in African communities (Felix Gyebi)
- Digital storytelling with Adobe Sprak Video, filming with FiLMiC Pro and editing with Adobe Premiere Clip, Adobe Rush/ Premiere Pro
