Are you a creative head, a visionary student or a thought leader for a sustainable future?Then #Nucleus is your project!
The Goethe-Institut and project partner the Mobile Innovation Network & Association (MINA), invite you to participate in the Smartphone Filmmaking competition #Nucleus. Filmmakers and creatives should submit their short films of 3 to 5 minutes in length, exploring issues of the environment and sustainability. The films must only be produced on a smartphone.
We are looking for your response to your environment, focused on natural landscape and iconic sites of the country, to make the connections between the natural world, people’s lives and the cultural heritage from Australia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Requirements:
Films must be shot on a smartphone
Length of 3- 5 minutes
The film must be made in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand or Vietnam
Film a native plant in the opening sequence for at least 20 seconds
The film should be shot in a well-known or iconic location in your country
It should express your personal stance on environment and sustainability
The best entries will be selected (Deadline 31 August 2019) by the Goethe-Institut. The winners will be invited to a three-day workshop in Wellington (New Zealand).
