Ayesha is an Urban Research Practitioner at Paraa, overseeing the research coordination at Shala (Neighbourhood Art Space). Ayesha's interests lie in the mechanisms of Globalization and Urbanization, Post-colonial and queer-feminist Urban Studies, and Place-making. Ayesha started studying the dynamic socio-cultural nuances inherent to urban environments as a consequence of attempts in navigating Dhaka.
