The Goethe-Institut Bangladesh, the National Crafts Council of Bangladesh (NCCB) and NETZ Bangladesch along with nine collaboration partners brought together intangible knowledge of
Bangladeshi crafts and artisanal heritage to Berlin.
The curators Thomas Kilian Bruderer and Simone Simonato focused on five textile crafts:
kantha,
shatranji,
indigo,
jamdani and
jute.
We are excited to amplify the network of people who are interested in crafts / Handwerk as well as artisans in Bangladesh and Berlin.
