Tourab: Syria Art Space

For ten days (17-27 April 2018) TOURAB: Syria Art Space opened in the Galerie Ravenstein, inviting Syrian artists to display their works and thoughts and to share these with the public through an exhibition, concerts, debates, films and workshops.

Tourab was ...

  • 70 artists and experts showcasing and debating the Syrian art scene
  • 10 days of cultural exchange
  • 7 workshops with children and students from Brussels
  • 7 Tourab Talks with topics such as literature, film, theatre, comics, education for displaced children and civil society
  • 5 dance and music performances 
  • 1 mural at BOZAR, that can still be visited
