Ayham Saif Eddin

Ayham Saif Eddin was born in Damascus in 1991, he lived and studied in Damascus countryside till his 25th. He had a bachelor of English Literature from the University of Damascus in 2014. Ayham moved to Belgium, Brussels in September 2015. He did a master in Political Sciences in the Université libre de Bruxelles, and currently he is following another master in European External Relations at KU Leuven. Between 2011 and 2015, Ayham worked with the Syrian Red Crescent in Rural Damascus Branch as a first aid field officer of humanitarian aid distribution, and as a field coordinator for urgent humanitarian responses. Ayham and his colleagues have started an initiative called “G-100 New Voices for Europe” which is a refugee-led initiative that works on the EU level and its member states’ in order to voice up refugees in the decision making process that concerns refugees’ lifes and their process of integration, bridge the gap between policy makers and refugees, and support refugees to be more active regarding their participation in the European democracy.
