The journey - Conceptual art workshop
Trained 15 young adults between 15 and 16 years old from Sint Lukas Brussels.
The workshop starts with a journey where the students go into the exhibition and are introduced to the contemporary Syrian art movement in exile, the position of art during armed conflicts, and an artist talk by Syrian artists Fadi Al-Hamwi and Sulafa Hijazi.
Then the students reflect on this journey by creating their own artworks, using pieces of clothes, expressing and representing their own emotions and ideas.
