Willem Staes

Willem Staes is policy officer Middle East at 11.11.11, an umbrella organization of 60 Belgian NGOs. 11.11.11 does research and advocacy on issues related to Syria and Israel/Palestine, while also supporting local organizations. Prior to working at 11.11.11, Willem lived and worked in Turkey and Palestine. He has a master's degree in international relations and in conflict and development studies.
