Participation for EU officials from Brussels and Luxemborg and ministerial officials of the permanent representations of the EU member states
Language level: B2 – C1
Do you know Germany and some German people, do you keep up to date with the latest political developments and are you interested in historical or cultural aspects of the country? But would you like to explore certain topics in greater depth?
Europanetzwerk Deutsch is inviting EU officials from Brussels and Luxembourg to attend the course Was Deutschland bewegt (What forces shape Germany) from 1/10 to 29/10/2021 which will be held in German. This course will look at phenomena that are distinctive to Germany and shape current debate. They lie in the background like a paradigm and influence thinking, decision-making and the attitudes of many German people in their everyday and professional lives. We explore questions like: what influence do trade unions and social policy have in Germany, what role do foundations play, how are environmental policies established and what is the approach to linguistic gender awareness?
The course includes two sessions on site at the Abtei Neumünster in Luxembourg and at the Goethe-Institut Brussels (8/10, 29/10) as well as three Zoom meetings (1/10, 15/10, 22/10). It is led by two language teachers and provides opportunity for individual feedback.
Anyone interested in participating can
by 19/9/2021 to Dr. Franziska Humphreys, Goethe-Institut Brussels (firstname.lastname@example.org).
