1.2 The Goethe-Institut Brussels reserves the right to cancel a planned course if the number of participants is too low or to change course times and/or course fees.

2. Prices and payment

2.1 Course fees may be paid in cash, by bank transfer or by credit card. A payment deadline will be set for payments by bank transfer. If payment of the full course fee is not received on time, the participant loses his/her right to participate in the course.

2.2 Participation in the course is only possible if the course fee has been paid.

2.3 The prices valid at the time of registration in the current course prospectus and on the Goethe-Institut website shall form part of the contract.

2.4 Course material and examination fees are not included in the course fee.

3. Enrolment

3.1 Enrolment takes place on site or by e-mail (for new clients without any prior knowledge, new clients with a current Goethe certificate and continuation students) before the course begins.

3.2 Placement in the appropriate course level for non-beginners takes place during enrolment with a test (approx. 1 hour).

3.3 Late enrolments after the start of the course are possible as long as there are free places. The courses are group courses. The number of places is limited.

4. Withdrawal

4.1 If the course participant is unable to attend the course, the following cancellation conditions apply:

4.1.1 in case of cancellation up to 3 working days before the start of the course, the paid course fee will be refunded subject to an administrative fee of € 30.

5.4 Once the course has started, it is no longer possible to change courses. If the placement test does not reflect your actual level, you can change courses within 3 days after the first day of the course with the agreement of the respective teacher. If there are no more places available in the desired course, a change of course is unfortunately not possible.

6. Confirmation of participation

6.1 Attendance certificates will only be issued if the course participant has attended at least 70% of the lessons.

6.2 Certificates of attendance will be issued for a maximum of six months after the end of the course.
