Yolanda Chois quer Kwasi Ohene-Ayeh


Degree in Visual arts and aesthetics by Universidad del Valle, Cali. Colombia. Currently works at Almanaque Azul Foundation (Panamá)  in the area of cultural and community projects and collaborates with Más Arte Más Acción Foundation based in Colombia, in the project Territories. Parallel to this she supports the artistic practices and independent communication platform Towards the Coast. Collective Action (Hacia el litoral. Acción colectiva). At the moment is doing the project Falling off to the periphery. Dinamics of migration , in collaboration with the Ghanaian theories Audu Sallisu and the Colombian activist and cultural management Ana Garzón. And is designing the  program Topics between the tropics, an exchange experience between the Caribbean, Pacific and Atlantic thinking.

She has worked as manager at the space for contemporary art  Museo La Tertulia (Cali, 2012). She has been assistant curator for 41 Salón Nacional de Artistas, Ministry of Culture and Proartes (Cali, 2008-2009). She managed the exhibition space La vitrina and La sala de exhibición at Lugar a Dudas Foundation (Cali, 2011- 2012) she also worked at La Sultana- gallery - Artistic and publishing practices (Cali, 2009 – 2010). 

She has designed and produced cultural projects like: Bordeando La Frontera Darién y Chocó un territorio vivo, Casa del Soldado and Almanaque Azul (Panama, 2015); The Transmedia project Radio Va-llena, estación viajera, winner of the Crea Digital Grant 2014, Ministry of Technology  and Ministry Culture (Colombia, 2014 - 2015); Calidoscopia, Un Gabinete de Curiosidades by Lugar a Dudas, showed at the Bienal do Mercosul Ensayo de Geopoética (Portoalegre, Brasil, 2011) and MDE Enseñar y aprender, lugares de encuentro (Medellín, Colombia, 2011); and Videoclip Calzones azules by the trans singer La Gata (2010-2011). And she has publishing the projects Pequeña Miscelánea de la Cali Moderna Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 (Cali, 2012). Malambo 09, Brasil - Colombia (2010).
