Closed Fishbowl - Sharing experiences and perspectives.
(online and on site)

Format: The Fishbowl is a methodology that works as an alternative to traditional debates or panel discussions. It is a process that can be used to increase understanding of complex issues.

The process usually takes place in concentric circles. Some participants are selected to start the conversation in the inner circle, the Fishbowl, while the others sit in the outer circles to listen intently.

In a closed Fishbowl, the group that initiates the conversation does not change over time. More about the method: https://www.unicef.org/knowledge-exchange/files/Fishbowl_production.pdf

What are the challenges and opportunities/trends on...
Future of Museums: "Museum Work in Asymmetrical Networks"

Starting the conversation in the inner circle:
- Elvira Espejo Ayca (Director, National Museum of Ethnography and Folklore, La Paz)
- Pablo Lafuente (Artistic Co-Director, Museum of Modern Art, Rio de Janeiro)
- Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung (Director, Savvy Contemporary and designated Director, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin)
- Gitte Zschoch (Secretary General ifa, Stuttgart)

11:15 am (BRT)
Open Fishbowl - dialoguing with the previous presentations.
(online and on site)

Format: In an open Fishbowl, at any time a person from the outer circle can enter the inner circle and bring their contributions and questions on the subject, enriching the conversation. In this way, the conversation belongs to the collective and more participation and engagement of those present is guaranteed.

12:30 pm (BRT)
Lunch.

2 pm (BRT)
Open Space.
(on site only)

Format: The Open Space Technology is a methodology designed to unleash the self-organizing capacity of groups of any size. The participants create and manage their own agenda of parallel working sessions around a central theme of strategic importance, taking full responsibility for ensuring that each person gets to talk about what's relevant to him/her.

Individuals will post sessions on the large blank agenda and everybody will be invited to move freely between self-organizing conversations in breakout rooms.

Suggested guiding question: What conversation do you still need to have in order to get the most out of this conference? More about the method: www.openspaceworld.org

3:25 pm (BRT)
Coee Break.

3:45 pm (BRT)
