Allie (Florian Boss)

Allie is a solo musician and music producer who lives and works in Berlin, Germany. His music resembles “an unique mélange of robotic arrangements and dynamic acoustic, somewhere between an uncanny threat and warm intimacy”, according to Popmonitor.
 
After two produced albums in DIY-tradition and first shows in New York, Allie signed a contract with the Hamburg Indie-Label Clouds Hill (Faust, Bosnian Rainbows, Turbostaat) in 2012 and produced in the correspondent studio his third album Uncanny Valley. Over 200 hundred solo shows all over Europe followed and both a Tour in Canada sponsored by the Initiative Musik and many support shows for Angel Olsen, Adam Green and SEA+AIR, amongst others.
 
For the next Album Allie he changed to the Berlin Label Motor Music. The sponsoring by the Musicboard Berlin enabled him to produce the album single-handedly and to collaborate with other artists (Black Cracker, Talking Straight). Allie extended his live show, before “true orgies of calm” (Melodie & Rhythmus), with a backing band and presented it at numerous festivals (Reeperbahnfestival, Fusion Festival, 3000 Grad, amongst others).
 
At the end of 2015 a re-approved sponsorship by the Initiative Musik brought him to Brasil where he performed in Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba and Blumenau.
 
Allie holds a scholarship from the Musicboard Berlin as a resident at Vila Sul.
