Ory Dessau (*1979, Tel Aviv) is an independent curator and writer based in Berlin. He has been collaborating with museums such as the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Neuenationalgalerie, Berlin, and SMAK, Ghent. Dessau’s list of exhibitions includes, among other things, Zvi Goldstein’s Distance and Differences; Moshe Gershuni’s No Father No Mother (co-curated with Udo Kittelmann), and Gregor Schneider’s Sculptures, Photographs and Videos. His texts are published regularly in different art magazines such as Frieze, Art Review, Flash Art, and Cura Magazine. Dessau is the editor of several monographs, the most recent of which is Stanislaw Fijalkowski: Before and after Abstraction (Verlag der Buchhandlung Walther König, Cologne, 2016).
