The sculptor, videographer and landartist Sandra Tannous currently lives and works in Montreal, Canada. She already produced two public art projects and several group exhibitions and solos in Quebec, France and Switzerland. Tannous holds a bachelor's degree from Laval University (Quebec, Canada) in visual arts and also studied environmental design at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Bourges, France. Recently, following her studies in Landscape Architecture, she was approved by the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects.

The origins of her work are based around the human scale. She seeks to understand how people organize their space and which tools they use in the process. Working between the urban and the natural, she creates harmonious installations which reinforce the relationship that people have with their environment. Taking into consideration the history of the site, she moves freely between the gallery and the public space.

Sandra Tannous holds a scholarship from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Quebéc (CALQ) as a resident at Vila Sul.
