World Café. Initial conversation to bring everyone together on the same page.
(online and on site. In order to increase engagement, we will host a World Café on site and another one online. Both groups would be invited for a conversation around the same questions and will come together at the end of the process)
Format: The World Café is a powerful methodology which allows people to engage in meaningful conversations with each other around a guiding question – a question that is engagingly relevant to their lives or their work. After each round of conversation in small groups, all but one person at every table moves randomly to another table and carry on talking, creating, thus, a conversation web.
The small-table format ensures that the voices of all participants (even the most timid) can be heard in a short time, regardless of the size of the group, and that the full range of perspectives in the room can be surfaced for the whole group to see. It is also a great way of breaking the ice and giving people the appetite to engage with people they do not know. More about the method:
