Who controls what you see on the internet? In this fascinating documentary, the hidden industry of digital cleaning is exposed. We meet five “content moderators” outsourced from Silicon Valley leaders such as Google and Facebook whose job is to delete “inappropriate” content from the net. But we also meet people whose lives are dramatically affected by this online censorship. Important questions are raised as to what makes an image art or propaganda and how this censorship can erase perspectives and events from world view.
