While the busy full audience version of Hot Docs, North America’s largest documentary film festival that the Goethe-Institut has been partnering with for years, cannot happen in 2020 because of cinema closures and physical distancing measures, Hot Docs Industry has gone all-access online for international industry delegates with a keynote address, e-Micro Meetings, "Close Up With” sessions, a Hot Docs Online Community and a screening platform.

The "Hot Docs Doc Shop On Demand" includes a number of German films and co-productions across the sections Persister, International Spectrum, Shorts, World Showcase, The Changing Face of Europe presented in partnership with EFP, including:
