The interdisciplinary electronic and digital arts festival Mois Multi will present the work ADA, an interactive analogue sculpture, by German artist Karina Smigla-Bobinski. A giant sphere floats in a white space and marks each of its passage with a drawing. ADA is an installation consisting of a huge ball filled up with helium and spiked with charcoals. The ball is trapped inside a room and floats, leaving charcoal marks on the white walls. Like an “artist machine” that the visitor tries to dominate manually, it moves autonomously, in a way reminiscent of the cells of our bodies… A playful and interactive work inspired by the first computers.
