This event is presented by LEAF, Greystone Books, and the University of Toronto Faculty of Forestry, and supported by the Goethe Institut, the David Suzuki Foundation, and Park People.

A forester shares his fascinating insights into the surprisngly social life of trees. A walk in the woods will never be the same again.

Peter Wohlleben was born in 1964 in Bonn. He studied forestry and spent over twenty years working as a civil servant in the forestry commission. He has written books on the protection and preservation of the woodlands including the bestseller, "The Hidden Life of Trees: What They Feel, How They Communicate -- Discoveries from a Secret World."

Doors open at 6:30 pm with a presentation and Q&A from 7 pm - 8:30 pm. A book signing will follow the event.
