Conference of the Onterio Mondern Language Teachers' Association
Respect, exploration, innovation – that is the motto of the 2017 Ontario Modern Language Teachers’ Association’s (OMLTA) Spring Conference, which is taking place from March
31st to April 1st in Toronto, ON.
Participants can look forward to a huge variety of workshops that both relate to this motto and include perspectives of First Nations, Métis and Inuit. The topics of equity and inclusive education will play an important role, such as workshops on intercultural learning, internal differentiation, and how to motivate boys in particular to learn a foreign language.
Moreover, attendees have an extensive choice of workshops focusing on the use of technology in the foreign language classroom. Topics range from the usage of programs such as “Quizlet live”, “Google Docs” and “Minecraft” to the more general efficient use of tablets, SMART Boards or laptops in the Foreign Language Classroom.
If your are interestend in participating, please register
