Through the collaboration of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, the Goethe-Institut Montreal, Le Vivier and HELLERAU - Europäisches Zentrum Der Künste Dresden, composer Snežana Nešić has received a residency from mid-October to mid-December in Montreal. In counterpart, Montreal composer James O’Callaghan is welcomed for the same period of time in Dresden.

During this residency, Snežana Nešić is working on a new composition under the working title Eternal Light and inspired by Goethe’s Faust and texts by inventor Nikola Tesla. She will also perform her work Equilibrion IV with ensemble MusiquAvenir under the direction of Véronique Lacroix.
