IT'S (FINALLY) TIME FOR SHORTS!

The European Union Delegation to Canada, the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) and the diplomatic missions of EU Member States, in collaboration with the Canadian Film Institute, are pleased to present the fifth edition of the European Union Short Film Festival.

This year, a taste of European traditional food will be added to the mix of great cinema, courtesy of the diplomatic missions of EU Member States. The event is open to the public free of charge and will be held 3 – 5 May at 6:30 p.m. at Arts Court Theater, 2 Daly Ave. in Ottawa.

This year's European Union Short Film Festival features an engaging program of 22 short films from European Union Member States, each showcasing works in a variety of short film formats, including drama, documentary, and animation. These films, from both prominent and emerging filmmakers, will be presented in their original language with English sub-titles.

Each night the Festival begins with TASTES OF EUROPE at 6:30 p.m., followed by scheduled screenings at 7:00 p.m. Seating is limited, so please arrive 15 minutes early to guarantee a spot.
