2. Payment Terms

2.1. After registration, the student receives a confirmation of the booking. This confirmation also indicates the deadline of  payment for the course
2.2. If the course fee is not paid on time, the student loses all rights to participation in the course. The Goethe Institute (herein referred to as GI) reserves in this case the right to claim payment of the course fee.

3. Price

3.1. The contract is based on the rate in effect on the date of registration, which is attached to the registration form.
3.2. If the student requests to change the booking (eg change of dates), the first change is made free. A participation fee equivalent to 10% of the course fee is charged for any subsequent changes.

4. Withdrawal and Termination

4.1 If the student cannot attend the course, the following cancellation conditions apply: if the cancellation is made four weeks or more before the course starts, we only charge the fee of an amount equivalent to 10% of the course price. If a cancellation is made later than one week before the course starts, we retain 30% of the total cost. If a cancellation is made later than three days before the start of the course, we retain 50% of the course price. After classes begin, students, whether they completed a course or not, cannot in any way require the repayment of the sum in any way whatsoever.

5. Distribution of pupils / Number of students per class

5.1. Assignment to a level is based on  the placement test conducted at the Institute.
5.2. The number of participants is between 8-25 people per class for all courses. If at the beginning of the course, the number of participants is too low, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the course. In this case, we offer students the opportunity to take another course or be refunded in full. Unfortunately, only courses that attain the required minimum number of participants at the end of the registration period can be arranged. To avoid the cancellation of a course that would not have happened  if the people concerned registered in time, we request that you respect the registration period specified.

6. Students’ responsibilities

The student is required to comply to the rules in force in the institutes.

7. Responsibility of the Goethe-Institut

The responsibility of the GI and its employees is limited to personal injury and damage caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence of materials.
