On-site Training for Secondary School German Teachers from all Regions of Cameroon

In recent years, the on-site training sessions for secondary school German teachers have proven to be practical and successful. The topic “Movement and Mini-Projects” (2024 and 2025) provided teachers with direct support in their everyday teaching practice and were very well received.
In 2026, the concept is expanded. The focus is on the Happy Learning theory and positive foreign language education. Both approaches emphasize the importance of positive emotions, well-being, and joy of learning in language teaching. The aim is to design German lessons in such a way that learners associate the language with positive experiences and thereby learn more sustainably.

• Introduction to the Happy Learning theory
• Impact on lesson preparation, delivery, and follow-up
• Practical methods for immediate use in the classroom
• Exchange within a small group of participants

The training sessions provide a solid engagement with current didactic approaches and contribute to the further development of German teaching in Cameroon.

Trainers: Experienced training facilitators.
Target group: German teachers.
Number of participants: Maximum of 30 participants per group.
