14-day quarantine or staycation?: Day 13: My Way to Germany

Challenge Day 13

DAY 13

My quarantine is coming to an end soon. It has been a profound two-weeks, as I was forced to slow down and reflect on my life: Where do I want to go? And how am I going to get there? Before the pandemic, I have been so focus on moving forward that sometimes I even forgot where I wanted to go. But now I know! I want to go to Germany! It may not be for forever, but I would like to spend at least a year there and experience the country from all sides as a local, not as a tourist anymore.

On the internet portal "Mein Weg nach Deutschland" there are comprehensive information on visa applications, work and education, health and insurance, daily life in Germany. The web portal has been translated into 27 languages. There you will find important contact numbers and email addresses for when you have questions about moving to Germany, as well as free German language exercises, with numerous interactive games ("Liebe auf Deutsch" is a lot of fun to play!) and videos to improve your German. I find the website extremely helpful!

Mein Weg nach Deutschland
The web portal "Mein Weg nach Deutschland" is primarily aimed at new immigrants who want to move to Germany for professional or private reasons or who have already entered the country. The three sections "Practising German", "Living in Germany", and "Finding Help" offer the most important information for new immigrants. The web portal is available in 27 languages.

Take a look at the web portal "Mein Weg nach Deutschland" and tell us what you think about it.

Leave a comment on this page (preferably in German) for a chance to win today's surprise prize! You may even win a free summer intensive course at the end of two weeks!
