The inaugural NOVA New Media Interactive Art Prize, initiated by the Beijing Contemporary Art Foundation and the Big House Contemporary Art Center, Wuhan, China, is dedicated to uniting artistic concepts with future-oriented technologies, and facilitating communication between artists and global audiences. Collaborating institutions for the NOVA Prize include some of the world's most innovative art and cultural institutions, foundations, and art academies. The jury is formed by leading artists and contemporary art curators from the U.S., China, Austria, and Germany. The competition is open to artists around the world. Besides a cash prize, the winner will be awarded with an international exhibition tour. The deadline of application for the 2018 award is July 30, 2018.
NOVA New Media Interactive Art Prize
The Crossing Borders program provides international research grants to authors, filmmakers, and photographers who address in their work current social issues and who seek to reflect their impact on different cultures and societies. The aim of the program is to support the creation of publications that refute commonly held stereotypes, inspire dialog and promote mutual understanding.
The Goethe-Institut has established an International Coproduction Fund for the period from 2016 to 2018. The fund is intended for coproductions in the fields of theatre, dance, music and performance art.
