14-day quarantine or staycation?: Day 12: Audiobooks and Magazines on the Onleihe
When I was young, I always wished I had some superpowers, like... the ability to run, to stand on my head, to spin a web... etc. Today, I finally found it. I could... finish a book with my eyes closed! And not just any book, but a German book too!
Ok well, not exactly a superpower. I was just listening to an audiobook from Onleihe. I lied down on the sofa with a piece of pizza and listened with my eyes closed, and as there was no books, I did not stained any pages with my greasy fingers. And Goethe-Institut even has a list of easy-to-listen Audiobooks from the Onleihe, so I don't have to look up the books myself... Why would you need superpower, when you can rely on someone else?!
On top of audiobooks, films and E-books, you can also find numerous magazines and newspapers on Onleihe. You do have to open your eyes if you want to read... but I think if a sloth can do it, you also can! For German learners, I recommend the monthly magazine Deutsch Perfekt, which has a lot of interesting articles and German-learning tips. GEO, as well as GEOlino and GEOmini, are my personal favourites, as they are about nature and I can see my home and my friends in the beautiful pictures. There are other magazines on psychology, business, film, design, current affairs... something for everyone!
