Open Day at the Goethe-Institut Hongkong

Dear friends of German language and culture!
On 19th November, the Goethe-Institut Hongkong will be holding its second Goethe-Fest. We cordially invite you, your family and friends to join our Open Day:  Experience the latest German pop-music at the live concert of Hamburg indie-pop band DER RINGER, discover Germany, German culture and literature, taste German food and drinks, and learn German in the most fun ways you could ever imagine! What’s more, there are great prizes to be won!

With numerous programs in the line-up of our Goethe-Fest 2017, there is something fun for everyone. Dive into the world of German literature in the reading corner and get great deals at the books flea market. For those looking for actions, there are various German computer games and board games to play. Don’t forget to visit our Goethe-Gallery and Black Box for a glimpse of the latest German media art and short films!
Both adults and children can have fun learning their first German words at “Deutsch Dating” and our free taster course. For those with some knowledge of German already, there is the poster exhibition and language quest “Erfinderland Deutschland” with attractive prizes. Current course participants of the Goethe-Institut Hongkong will dazzle visitors with their live performance of German hits and illustrations of their favourite German words. Highlight of the day is the live concert of the Hamburg indie-pop band DER RINGER.
All visitors will have the chance to win a free German language course at our Goethe-Institut Hongkong by completing a Goethe-Quiz.
We look forward to seeing you at the Goethe-Fest 2017!
