COVID AND I
Hong Kong

covid und ich © Goethe-Institut Hongkong

The last 1.5 years have been a challenging time. And our situation remains unchanged for the time being: We wear masks, our hands are dry after using disinfectant and some of us haven't seen our friends and families for ages. We attended school classes in our living room, worked in the kitchen and spent a lot of time with our family in a very small space. Sometimes we were locked up - isolated and the fear of being infected became huge. So what does that do to us - as a society and as a family? How does this affect you and me?

Tell us about your experiences and your wishes for the future! Show us in a comic strip in German: What did you experience during the pandemic? What inspired you? What do you wish for the future? Tell and draw us a story! It doesn't matter if it's sad or optimistic - it doesn't have to be your personal story.

According to which criteria will the comics be judged?
- Creativity and imagination
- Use of the German language
- Implementation of the comic format
- Technical and drawing skills

There are two age groups in the competition. The age on the submission date is determinative.
Age group 1: 10-15 years
Age group 2: 16 years and older
