Tour of the exhibition
“The Nature of Things: Humboldt, comings and goings”

On the occasion of Alexander von Humboldt's 250th birthday, the Humboldt Forum Foundation and the Goethe-Institut jointly organized a two-day festival. As part of this celebration in Berlin, the exhibition “The Nature of Things: Humboldt, Comings and Goings”, curated by Halim Badawi, shows 14 contemporary artists in dialogue with 14 historical artistic positions. Selected works show that the burning questions of our time had already revealed themselves in the times of Humboldt’s expedition to the Americas.
