Why we need theatre for children and Young people
Volker Ludwig, the world wide renowned founder of the modern German childrens- and youth theatre and long time director of the famous Berlin based GRIPS-theatre will be in Nicosia in January on the invitation by the Goethe-Institut and THOK, to attend an open rehearsal for school classes and teachers of his play: "A feast at Papadakis" (which in the Cypriot adaption by the Greek director Vassilis Kukalanis will be titled: "A feats at Al Nouri" and premiered at THOK on the 25th of January 2015).
On Monday, 19th January 2015, Volker Ludwig will chair a workshop for specialists on childrens- and youth theatre (authors, actors, dramaturgs, teachers etc.) from both communities in Cyprus about: "Why we need theatre for children and Young people". (In English)
